Val Riess Park had it's grand opening on Sunday, August 23 at 6:30 P.M. If you have not seen it recently you will be surprised. It's a great looking park, and a nice addition to the parish. A good crowd came out to see it, along with the usual assortment of politicians. This first phase has four ball fields, all fenced in. Also, it has a concession stand in the middle of the four fields.....looking good.
